In a bowl, mix together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix the two types of sugar, pumpkin puree, vanilla, melted butter, eggs, and milk. Stir until combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients and start mixing slowly until combined, but not completely. The batter may still have some lumps.

Let the batter rest for 3 minutes.
